Our training program offers continuous, modular training. Each stage is loosely based on the age of the student, though more emphasis is placed on their knowledge, skills and interests. The modules focus on ingraining computational thinking in students. Coding on the other hand enables students to generate innovative solutions by creating algorithms to provide generic solutions. The program is provided through two options:
- -> Weekend sessions that run between 9am and 12 noon, twice monthly on every other Saturday
- -> School Holiday Camps that run in April, August and December offered between 9am and 3pm from Monday to Friday for one week.
Each program also incorporates a Child Online Protection component. The amount and depth of content is based on the age of the children in a particular program. The general areas of coverage are:
- -> Social media
- -> Cyberbullying
- -> Passwords and privacy
- -> Personal information and location
- -> Sexting
- -> Online gaming
- -> Computer protection (malware, updates, backups etc)
We also hold monthly sessions for parents and guardians. These sessions are used to give children’s caregivers the tools and knowledge to teach children to protect themselves online.
